Given that half of all Thais are pre-occupied with collecting selfies, I am a little surprised I was the only person awake to the multiplication factor available at this street sunglasses vendor stall.
3/4 of us met at George's, behind the Lumpini Park Police Station, to discuss and plan a road-trip to Yangon where we will offer friendship and moral support to the 4th member of our travelling show [in return, #4 will provide a roof over our heads and copious quantities of beer to stave off dehydration...a very fair deal].
George has excellent, keenly priced food, and very cold Beer Leo. For the first hour of the long wait, a brass band offered entertainment...quite pleasant, really, even though a fair proportion of their playlist seemed more suitable for a funeral.
Pigeons, on the river pier at the back of Bangkok's Wat Yannawa, taking advantage of the free food on offer.
