Bangkok Food

The preparation and consumption of food are very like religious rituals in Thailand and, especially, Bangkok. It is difficult to find yourself in a place in the city where food is not visible. This leads to a situation in which food is clean, cheap and delicious.

Collecting Food

Here is a short video I made to demonstrate a visit to the closest Street food market, where we often buy our food either as ingredients for home-cooking or as ready-to-eat dishes.

Local Street Food

We don't have to go far to get a selection of delicious street foods...right outside the door of our apartment complex is a row of about 20 mobile street vendors selling a wide variety of high quality food and drinks at astonishingly low prices. They set up their enterprise each morning at about 0600, and work until all their product is consumed, which will be some time between 1400 and 1900.
