This temple is the closest to my Bangkok Condominium. It is unique in that it is said to combine the architectural styles of Thailand, China and Laos. At about 50 years it is not an old temple...but it is a significant temple in that it has Royal Patronage, and also benefits from the patronage of The CEO of Kasikorn Bank. During the past three years the temple has had a major refurbishment program funded by Kasikorn Bank, and is now in peak condition.
It is a very quiet temple...its enclosed garden is nearly always empty and serene. Its occasional merit-making visitors tend to be well-to-do member of influential Chinese families, and so this makes it unofficially off-limits to normal Thai folks who live nearby.
