Birds are wonderful, diverse critters, and bring great pleasure to those who take the time to observe and respect them.

Birds of Thailand

I believe Thailand is a wonderful place for observing birds. There is something like 900 species identified as living in or visiting this country.

Beung Boraphet

This large swamp, near Nakhon Sawan city about 3 hours north of Bangkok, is an extraordinary place to observe bird life.

Thailand's most common

An index of the birds I have seen and photographed most often in Thailand. Some of them are spectacular birds, and successful even in Bangkok.

Birds of Australia

Australia has interesting and unique bird life.

Bird Parks

Well run Bird Parks can provide a wonderful experience in seeing birds up close, and gaining an appreciation and respect for them.

Singapore Birdpark 1

Might be the best birdpark on Earth. Here are images I shot during a 2 hour visit in 2010.
