A vibrant gem of a public park in Inner City Bangkok, Lumpini Park is quite close to our Apartment complex so I cycle to it frequently with a camera slung around my neck.

BloomsLumpini Park has forests of mature flowering trees, copses of perennial flowering shrubs, and beds of seasonal flowers.
There is always plenty of colour. |

BugsThe wastewater treatment ponds, at one end of the park, are a favourite place for bugs...especially Dragonflies and Damselflies.

BrutesLumpini park is home to a large population of Water Monitors...the second largest lizards on Earth. I have seen them, here, up to 3 metres long and weighing perhaps 50 kilograms.
