Damselfly takes possession, and claims ownership, of a water lily bud...in a small pond in a Singburi temple garden.

The topiarist has created herd of rampaging pachyderms, and now they are threatening to trample over my bicycle.
A fairly typical lane in our part of Bangkok...two-way traffic is a snug fit when a line of tour buses is coming the other way.
The pigeons seem to enjoy the warm water of the little pond in the grounds of the temple we visited in Singburi Province a couple of days ago.
This thing got invited into our home.
We expected it would be like most plants, and not stay long...but, it seems to like the place so has put down roots and is thriving. Its so big now that I am a little afraid of what it might do if I insist it has outstayed its welcome... |
