This footpath vendor arrives about 1730, on his motor-cycle-converted-into-BBQ-centre...at the very front [beyond bottom left of this image] is his large charcoal BBQ...displayed on bamboo leaves are his cooked wares...at his left is an insulated barrel of hot, packaged sticky rice...in front of him is his work-space, dominated by a wooden cutting block.
His wares include several variations on chicken, beef, pork and fish. My favourite is the BBQ pig's ear, which gives the jaws a good work-out. He also has a couple of kinds of lightly pickled vegetables, steamed fish-cake and spicy sauces.
A comprehensive meal for 3 people will cost about 100baht, which is about US$3.20
