Its about 1:20 each way between Bangkok and this attraction. From Bangkok, access is by road, and the easiest route is to use the elevated expressway all the way to Chonburi and then continue driving towards Pattaya whilst looking for signs advertising the zoo.
The zoo is a private enterprise. It covers a very big, hilly area, so cannot really be appreciated on foot...better to either take your car into the grounds, or to park your car and hire an electric golf buggy for a few hours.
