Reports suggest Bangkok is about to suffer disruptions from long-lived floods, just like happened 2 years ago.
This is the entrance to a riverside restaurant which was flooded and put out of action for months last time. This time, it seems, they are prepared with sandbags in place along with a raised walkway that should allow clients to arrive at the dining room with dry feet.
Of course, the walkway finishes there, and so diners could find themselves immersed to their waist as they "fish" for food on floating plates...
