The Three Pagoda Pass monument
It is not hard to feel underwhelmed by the three small, white-painted towers that signify the place where the in-famous WW2 Death Railway crosses the border between Burma and Thailand.
There is no railway here anymore, border crossings are not permitted for persons who are neither Burmese nor Thai, and the access road stops, abruptly!
At least there is the novelty of being guided here by a team of geese and ducks...
